What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?

EFT, otherwise known as 'tapping', involves tapping with your fingertips on acupuncture points on your body. These acupuncture points are usually referred to as acupoints. Research has shown that pressure on acupoints, or acupressure, can be as effective as acupuncture itself (Cherkin, Sherman, & Avins, 2009). Energy flows through our body through pathways called meridians. Disease can be caused by a blockage or interruption of that flow, and acupuncture or acupressure can be used to remove those blockages. 

 As EFT continues to grow and evolve, thousands of people are using it across the globe. Clinical EFT is now an accepted practice among psychologists, and it has become part of the mainstream due to the high level of evidence-based research performed on the benefits of practice.

How EFT can help

Emotional Freedom Technique can be used to help release and resolve a current area of concern, such as recurring negative thoughts or beliefs, or any other emotional charge within you that is causing you to feel stuck and unable to progress forward.
